Cobden formerly had two GP Clinics in it's small town of 1800 people; Curdie Street Medical Clinic, and Cobden Clinic. In 2018, Curdie Street Medical Clinic closed its doors, and residing Doctor, Andrew Griffiths joined the Cobden Clinic located on Victoria Street.

Dr Andrew Griffiths is a registered medical practitioner, achieving registration in 1980 and was the only on-call after hours doctor in the town, including the surrounding rural community alongside Cobdenhealth's 60-bed Residential Aged Care Facility.

Dr Ferdinandus Pranadi was welcomed to the Cobden Clinic in April, 2019. Dr Pranadi has spent the past 12 years working in Orange, Melbourne and most recently Altona and comes with great practical medical skills. At present, Dr Pranadi practices from the Cobden Clinic rooms every Monday, Thursday and Friday and supports the Cobdenhealth Residential Aged Care Faclility and Urgent Care Centre.

Other practitioners at the Cobden Clinic include locum doctors and a Practice Nurse.

Cobdenhealth is dedicated to ensuring the Cobden Clinic is accessible for all members of our community, as well as the residents within our facility! You will still see the same friendly reception staff, the same diligent doctors - and potentially some new faces around the Clinic in the near future.
